Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accountant II responsible for
applying accounting principles to analyze financial information and
prepare reports.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a detailed understanding of accounting processes and
internal controls
Compile and review journal entries in compliance with GAAP and
support period-end close activities
Proactively work on period-end analysis and provide leadership with
timely financial information
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting and at
least one year of general ledger accounting experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
Knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S.
GAAP)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate
knowledge of Excel
Functional knowledge of general and corporate accounting processes
and internal controls
