Position Summary:
The Director of Commercial Banking Product & Services is
responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for
Commercial Banking Services at Central Banccompany. This role leads
the Commercial Banking Product, Commercial Support, and Reporting
Teams, ensuring the delivery of innovative Treasury Management
Services designed to meet the evolving needs of business clients.
The Director will work closely with stakeholders across the bank's
various markets to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and
operational excellence. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Banking
Services and Payments Officer, the Director will play a key role in
shaping the future of Central Bancompany's Commercial Banking
products and services
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Development- Lead and inspire a
cross-functional team of direct and indirect reports, providing
coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap- Develop and maintain a
comprehensive strategy for Commercial Banking Products & Services,
including a robust product roadmap and plan for evolving existing
products and development of new products across all channels
(branch, online, mobile, and digital).
- Product Portfolio- Oversee a diverse portfolio of approximately
25 Commercial Banking products, including solutions for
payables/receivables, information reporting, fraud prevention, and
more.
- Product Rollout Coordination- Ensure end-to-end product
delivery working with relevant departments (IT, Operations,
Marketing, Sales, Training) to ensure successful product
rollouts.
- Market & Competitor Analysis- Stay attuned to market trends,
competitor offerings, and emerging industry developments to
continuously enhance the Commercial product portfolio and identify
new opportunities for growth.
- Operational Excellence- Oversee the Commercial Support team,
ensuring seamless service delivery and business customer
support.
- Revenue & Retention- Drive strategies that increase
cross-selling opportunities and enhance customer profitability and
retention.
- Financial Oversight- Manage the Account Analysis Complete
Billing system, and provide regular financial reporting to senior
leadership to inform market-specific financial goals.
- Budget Management- Own the financial performance of the
department, including managing the annual budget and ensuring
alignment with overall bank objectives.
- Performance Measurement- Develop and track performance
benchmarks to assess product profitability and effectiveness, using
insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Market Collaboration- Set revenue budget and performance goals
for Markets, track progress, and provide regular reports to
management on goal attainment.
- Risk & Compliance- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams
to assess, mitigate, and manage risks associated with the full
suite of Commercial Banking Products & Services.
- Marketing & Communications- Partner with Holding Company Sales
Manager and Holding Company Marketing to ensure all product-related
promotional materials and communications are accurate and aligned
with the bank's brand across all delivery channels.
- Committee Engagement-Contribute to Commercial Banking Board
Committee meetings, organize Commercial Banking Services
Representative workshops, and oversee the organization of Annual
Pricing Committee meetings across markets.
- Strategic Support- Serve as a subject matter expert on
strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and other
key projects as required.
The Commercial Banking Services team is located in Jefferson City,
MO. This position can work from any of our affiliated bank
locations across the organization.
