Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Benefit Verification
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and pre-determination
requirements for scheduled patients
Coordinate with physician offices and hospital teams to secure
necessary authorizations and referrals
Notify patients of their estimated financial responsibilities prior
to procedures
Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED required
Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a
related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in insurance verification, patient access,
medical billing, or healthcare financial services required
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and patient
scheduling systems preferred
