Job Description:
A company is looking for a Faculty member in Substance Use
Disorders for the School of Counseling.
Key Responsibilities
Teach courses in the Substance Use Disorder Emphasis, utilizing
both synchronous and asynchronous formats
Participate in faculty development, committee work, and community
service to enhance the program
Assess student learning outcomes and contribute to continuous
quality improvement of the Counseling program
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited
program or a related doctoral degree with relevant faculty
experience
Dual licensure as an addiction counselor and professional
counselor; Colorado Licensed Addictions Counselor preferred
3-5 years of higher education teaching experience preferred
Eligibility for clinical licensure within the state of
residency
Knowledge of ethical standards of practice for professional
counseling
