Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the
design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure
solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and critical updates to ensure
system stability and reliability
Develop and enforce security policies while ensuring compliance
with industry standards
Regularly test and refine disaster recovery plans to ensure system
availability
Required Qualifications
Expertise in server and network infrastructure, including Windows
Server, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity practices, tools, and
compliance standards
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or
Bash
Proven ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with
cross-functional teams
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft
Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) are
highly desirable
