A company is looking for a Databricks Architect to join their analytics practice as a full-time team member, focusing on designing and implementing data solutions remotely in the US.



Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures using Databricks and the Medallion Architecture
Lead requirement-gathering sessions to understand business needs and define best practices for data workflows
Collaborate with cloud platform teams to optimize data storage and retrieval in environments like AWS S3 and Azure Data Lake


Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a focus on data architecture
Extensive experience (3-5+ years) with Databricks and the Medallion Architecture
Expertise in Python, including developing production-grade data pipelines and automation scripts
Proficiency in PySpark and SQL with experience integrating various data sources with Databricks
In-depth experience with Delta Lake and cloud platform services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
