As an Electrical Product Design and Developer at Newco Enterprises, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving electrical systems and components for our commercial equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and efficiency. 1. Electrical System Design: Design electrical systems and components for commercial equipment, considering factors such as functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
2. Prototype Development: Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate the functionality and reliability of electrical designs.
3. Component Selection: Select and source electrical components, including sensors, controllers, and wiring, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and other team members to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall product design.
5. Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications, to guide the manufacturing and assembly processes.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as UL, CE, and others.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in product design.Requirements:
--- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.--- Proven experience in electrical product design and development for commercial equipment.--- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).--- Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuits, and control systems.--- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.--- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.--- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
