Job Description:
A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Auditor Educator.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct provider medical record audits and analyze practice coding
patterns
Provide education and training regarding risk adjustment to ensure
accurate CMS payment
Analyze MRA data to identify patterns and develop interventions at
the provider and market level
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience in a medical coding role within a hospital,
physician setting, or Managed Care Organization
2+ years of coding experience with knowledge of Medicare risk
adjustment (HCC Coding)
Experience in teaching or training, preferably in provider
education
CPC or CCS certification required at hiring; CPMA within the first
year, and CRC within the second year of employment
